About The Team

Yudhvir Sing Sidhu, CEO & Founder


Yudhvir Singh Sidhu is the Speaker Coordinator for the Silicon Valley Linux User Group(SVLUG) in addition to leading MediGrail.

He has held positions as an Information Technology Manager at the University of California Observatories/Lick Observatory and at the Office of the President spanning years and hundreds of users.

Yudhvir has extensive experience as a Software Process Engineer at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. He led a team of engineers to audit 1.2 million lines of code of military satellite ground station control software. He also led a 38-member team in defining and implementing data interface standards for Cheyenne Mountain.

Yudhvir holds a masters in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering. He is a certified Solaris Systems Administrator and holds an Amateur Radio HAM License.

Nelson Garcia, CTO & Founder


Nelson C. Garcia is a consultant supporting various Navy logistics programs in the Washington, DC area and is a founding member of Medigrail LLC where he serves as the Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Garcia has almost 30 years of naval logistics experience, 20 of which were served on active duty until his retirement from the U.S. Navy in 2003.

Mr. Garcia is a PhD candidate in Information Systems at NOVA Southeastern University and holds a Master’s of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science (BSCS) from Hawaii Pacific University.

Mr. Garcia is a member of the Society of Hispanics Professional Engineers (SHPE), the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), and the Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE).

He lives in Upper Marlboro, MD (a suburb of Washington, DC) with his wife Valleria and his children Eddie and Christina.

Xing Ju, Cheif Software Architect


Mr. Xing Ju holds a masters in Computer Science from California State University East Bay(CSUEB), and a bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China.

Xing worked as the main developer of the CompCore Immersive Display shown at a science festival. He was also the main developer of the TP800 hand-held IR device applications at Hualong Tech in China.

Xing is a prolific developer with projects such as an ant colony simulator, a finger shooter which has to be seen to be believed, an Expert Engine system and a couple of game applications.

Dr Omoto Jackson, Medical Advisor


Dr. Omoto Jackton is the Medical Superintendent and visionary at Siaya District Hospital in Kenya. A government facility serving a rural community of 84,000 people. He leads the 220-bed facility and 11 associated clinics in the district.

Dr. Omoto is an OB/GYN who has been the main force in making the hospital automation project a success. With the help of MediGrail LLC, he led the team to go-live within 14 weeks of installation – overcoming a national medical staff strike which lasted over 2 weeks.

He has increased cash flow of the facility by 250% in 10 weeks after go-live. The medical record system has seen over 13,000 patients during that same period.

William Mayi, Medical Records Officer


Mr. William Mayi is the department chief of Medical Records at Siaya District Hospital. He is also part of our hospital automation team is the lead Application Administrator for the electronic medical record system.
William also reports extensively to the Kenyan Ministry of Medical Services in Nairobi.
William brings many years of experience to MediGrail.

Nicholas Funnell, Developer


Nick was the sole developer of the NewLife Blogger software. The PHP/MySQL project was a clone of LiveJournal.com to allow webmasters the option of integrating blogging to their website.
Integrated existing code libraries and developed the rest. Project featured user management and authentication, customizable templates for a unique look on a per-user basis, management of the relationships between users through friends lists, and privacy settings for each entry.
